Alex Triantafilou

Alex Triantafilou

Ohio GOP Chairman, Dinsmore Attorney

Candidate for: State Central Committee Member, District 8

Alex Triantafilou is the boss of the Ohio Republican Party. He also holds a seat on the State Central Committee for District 8 in Northern Cincinnati. Before leading the state party, he was a judge and ran the Republican Party in Hamilton County.1

When he isn't working for the GOP, Triantafilou is a Partner at a huge law firm called Dinsmore & Shohl. He works in their "litigation" department, which means he helps fight lawsuits for big companies.1

In 2025, Triantafilou played a key role in forcing Vivek Ramaswamy on Republican voters. He stood on stage in September 2025 and asked the crowd, "Are we united around Vivek?" essentially handing the party's support to them well before the primary election, a major breach of protocol.2

The Dinsmore Problem

Alex Triantafilou is a Partner at Dinsmore. "Partners" usually own a piece of the law firm directly, allowing them to passively profit off them. When the firm makes money, Alex makes money.3 He even brags on his resume that he uses his political connections to help his legal career.1

Dinsmore Profits from Foreign Labor

One of the main ways Dinsmore makes money is by helping corporations bring in foreign workers to replace Americans. They have a whole team dedicated to "Immigration."4

  • Replacing Workers: Dinsmore helps companies get H-1B visas. These visas allow businesses to hire foreign workers instead of hiring people from Ohio.5
  • Beating the System: The firm sends alerts to their clients teaching them how to get around limits on foreign labor so they can keep hiring cheaper workers.6
  • Protecting Corporations: Dinsmore sells "compliance" services. This means they help companies avoid getting in trouble with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) if they get raided.7

Since Alex is a Partner, every time Dinsmore helps a company replace an American worker with a foreign one, Alex likely gets a cut of the profit.

Dinsmore and Amazon

Dinsmore represents Amazon in Kentucky. In the past, they have defended Amazon in court when workers sued over unpaid time and safety issues.8 Now, there are reports that Amazon is building massive warehouses near residential homes in places like Bullitt County, Kentucky.

Locals have reported that these warehouses are often staffed by Somali migrants. Residents in Shepherdsville, KY, have even seen signs inside the facilities written in Somali because there are so many foreign workers there.9

This is happening just 90 minutes from Cincinnati. With Alex Triantafilou in charge, the same thing could happen in your town.

This is a picture I took outside of Amazon warehouse in a small town south of Louisville (Shepherdsville, KY). There are so many Somalis who work there that they had a sign in Somali. I talk to people who live in the county and work there. They told me that Somalis are a large percentage of workers. There are dozens of warehouses in the Bullitt County KY.

Dinsmore and Woke

Dinsmore runs a department specifically to help companies be more woke. The firm has a dedicated "ESG Practice Group" that advises businesses on how to meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. This is to help satisfy investor groups like Blackrock which score companies on ESG metrics.10 They've published guides on ESG as recently as 2021.11

Dinsmore itself has previously appointed a "Chief Equity + Inclusion Officer" (Tammy Bennett) to oversee these programs and ensure that social justice ideas are part of the company culture. They have created specific groups for employees based on their identity, such as the "In Law & Equity" group for LGBTQ staff and allies. These efforts have been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign’s "Corporate Equality Index," which gave Dinsmore a near-perfect score for supporting LGBTQ+ causes.12

Coincidentally, at the same time Alex's firm was pushing ESG, Vivek had written Woke, Inc. (2021), a book criticizing corporate wokeness. It seems Alex's firm didn't get the memo despite their apparent closeness.

Connections for Sale

Can we establish that Alex Triantafilou is profiting off of his political connections? Well, yes.

In 0, Alex was getting divorced from his wife, Jennifer. During the divorce, his wife applied for an executive assistant position at Green Township (in Hamilton County, where he was GOP Chairman) by submitting a resume, which did not meet minimum requirements, 11 days after the deadline, that already had 98 other candidates. Jennifer got it.13

The Ramaswamy Problem

Alex Triantafilou has pushed hard for Vivek Ramaswamy, even breaking protocol by endorsing him before the primary election. This has upset many Ohio voters who feel Vivek does not share their values.

This is not the first time Alex has admitted to playing games with voters. In early 2025, he was caught bragging that "confusing Ohioans was not such a bad strategy" to defeat ballot measures he didn't like.14

In late 2025, Triantafilou attacked Republicans who criticized Vivek, calling them a "grifter class" and claiming he has known Vivek since he was 17 years old.15 The response is that he merely met Vivek when he was a teenager, but this presents a problem: either he was vaguely aware of Vivek and can't really claim to know him well, or he has known him for a long time and his main qualification for Governor is nepotism.

The unserious grifter class making money from clicks and podcast listenership bores me. Ohio has serious leaders focused on solutions for real people in @SenJonHusted and @VivekGRamaswamy, and I anticipate a strong slate of serious candidates in 2026. And we WILL win. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I rarely take the Twitter bait. But here goes: ... 2. He's a wildly successful, 100% self-made entrepreneur who ran successful businesses. I knew him when he was 17. This amazing climb is of his own doing—hard work, sheer genius, and total discipline. He built something from middle-class roots in suburban Cincinnati. Government is lucky to get someone this smart. He's serious on merit and success.

By locking his social media replies and insulting voters, Triantafilou has made it clear: he protects his billionaire friends, not the people of Ohio.
